Program Overview:

Baylor School of Social Work--Gerontology Initiative prepares BSW, MSW, and Ph.D. students for worldwide leadership in practice and research in gerontology and provides state of the science knowledge and service for the well-being of older persons, their families, and communities.

Aspirations: enrich educational opportunities, energize student interest, conduct and coordinate research, and strengthen congregational and community service. Any faculty or staff interested in curriculum, research, and/or service related to older persons may serve on the committee
