Program Overview:
The six-course, Manning Certificate Program is well-suited for undergraduate students interested in the improvement of care, research, policy development, and quality-of-life programs for older adults. In this certificate program, you will gain an understanding of the aging network and aging process through direct service, research, field placements, social and public policy, and legislative advocacy for the elderly. Coursework for the Manning Certificate is offered online.

This on campus program is designed to prepare students for leadership roles as educators, researchers, policy analysts and policy makers. We are the second school in the U.S. to offer a doctoral program in this field and have produced more gerontology PhDs than any university in the world.
