Program Overview:
The Master of Science in Gerontology prepares students to be leaders in the profession and to serve older adults locally and nationally through the business, health, non-profit, and academic sectors. The MS can be completed in 31 hours with or without a thesis option.

Program Overview:
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Gerontology provides students with a background in aging processes and prepares them to apply theory and research findings to practical issues, whatever their field or career goal. The 16 hours of courses required for this certificate program may be used to meet requirements in a degree program in accordance with the policies of The Graduate School. This program is offered both on campus and online.

The 15-semester hour Gerontology undergraduate minor is designed for undergraduates with any major who are interested in a career in aging or personally interested in the topic. This minor should be of special interest to undergraduates planning to pursue careers in the allied health fields, with businesses or non-profits providing services or products to older adults and their families, or after attending graduate school as researchers in their respective fields.
