Program Overview:
The Option in Aging (similar to a minor in Aging) is an opportunity for undergraduate students to expand their area of study into several faculties, classrooms, and learning experiences. It is called an Option because instead of the student's courses being concentrated within a single faculty, the Option spans five faculties, each of which offers its own specialized and targeted courses on aging. Participating Faculties include: Agricultural and Food Sciences; Arts; Kinesiology and Recreation Management; Social Work; Rady Faculty of Health Science (Max Rady College of Medicine, College of Nursing).
Students who complete the Option in Aging will have it added as a “comment” to their transcript upon graduation.
